A voluntary survey issued this week to public school students and their parents is getting generally good marks in Prince George.
The surveys, distributed this week with Grade 4, 7, 10 and 12 students in the district, was created by the provincial ministry of education.
“We want to give parents more input to their children’s education,” says education minister Christy Clark.
“I think they are a good idea,” says Bev Hosker, president of the District Parent Advisory Council. “It’s good for parents to have the opportunity to have input on a regular basis … We would really encourage as many parents as possible to fill them out and return them.”
