The Winchester District Memorial Hospital (WDMH) Auxiliary’s recent 75th Anniversary Tea and Fashion Show had a wonderful twist – when the Morrisburg Royal Canadian Legion (RCL) Branch #48 and Women’s Auxiliary presented a cheque for $2,000 to support patient equipment purchases.
Decades of stylish fashion and fascinators filled the Morrisburg Legion on Saturday at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital (WDMH) Auxiliary’s 75th Anniversary Afternoon Tea and Fashion Show. It was a wonderful day of celebration, laughter - and a few surprises.
A celebration was held on Saturday for a dedicated group of volunteers, who over the past seven decades have raised millions of dollars for a small eastern Ontario hospital.
