Happy New Year!
Well, we certainly wonât forget 2020 Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with heavy rain on top of two feet of snow. Very difficult time with flooding, evacuations, concerns for everyoneâs safety, all the firefighters, law enforcement, EMS, highway crews working around the clock to help. As bad as this was, it wasnât the same level as Tropical Storm Irene in 2011. We can be thankful for that.
There are numerous road closures here on the Mountain Top. Just three of them listed here â Route 42 in West Kill is closed from Haines Lane to Howard Road. We will have to use Beech Ridge Road as a detour. Section of County Route 17 is also closed and Route 214. Please be careful.
I am a resident here and up until a few weeks ago we were Covid-19 free, what else can I say.
A big thank you to all the staff at the Great Hospital who have gone above and beyond in their care.

Loddon branch of Co-op
My thanks go to all the staff at the Loddon Co-op. They are always well organised and have made us safe as possible. But more importantly the staff are so kind and helpful. Having a shop like this has definitely made life easier for the people of Loddon at this difficult time. I cannot thank them enough for their hard work and cheerfulness.
