It is really borne out of a long interest i have had, in some ways the roots of shaping San Francisco which is Community Participatory history project but rooted in ses lendings acritical relationship to technology. We started in the mid 90s during the big boom then of interactive multimedia and kind of way before there was even web 1. 0 really. We were already working on this project. Weve gone through quite a few iterations.
