Kennewick Women Desperate to find Her Grandma
Today marks exactly two weeks since Betty Counts, the beloved Grandma of Jena Usher has been missing. She and her little dog Max left their home on the eve of July 4th and has not been heard from since. We originally shared the missing person (which shortly there after became a silver alert) post to try to help locate Betty to no avail. It has been mind boggling for the family, Jena tells me she suspects foul play and there is just no freaking way she just fell off the face of the earth!
PRINEVILLE, Ore. - Prineville Police are asking people in Washington, Idaho, Oregon and Montana to be on the lookout for a missing Oregon woman.Â
Prineville Police said 83-year-old Betty Counts was reported missing on Saturday by her husband. She reported left their home after an argument.Â
Earlier, she had mentioned possibly visiting a friend in Eugene Oregon, but prior to leaving she said she may visit her granddaughter in Kennewick, Washington. Betty had also mentioned visiting a family member in Montana.
Counts spoke with her husband on Saturday over the phone from Coeur d Alene after he reported her missing but no one has heard from her since.Â
Prineville Woman Missing
An 83-year-old Prineville woman is missing after she left her home Saturday morning. According to the Prineville Police Department, Betty Counts is 5’6″ about 165 lbs., grey hair, green eyes, wearing jean shorts, and driving a white, Infiniti, EX3, with Oregon License Plate 873MNT. Areas of Interest: Washington (Central/Eastern), Idaho, Montana, and Oregon. Last seen in Ephrata, Washington at about 1:03 a.m., on July 4th. Last phone contact was July 4th, at about 930 AM, possibly near Moscow, Idaho.
On July 4th, at about 7:00 a.m., Betty’s husband reported her as missing after she left on Saturday after a minor argument. Earlier, she had mentioned possibly visiting a friend in Eugene, but prior to leaving she said she may visit her granddaughter in Kennewick, Washington. Please help find Betty Counts from Prineville Oregon! She went missing early Sunday morning, possibly Saturday night. Her debit card was last used at a gas station in Moses Lake at 12:30 a.m. and she has not been seen since. Nobody knows what she was wearing at the time of her disappearance but they do know she was driving her 2008 white Infinity, Oregon license plate number 873MNT. She was born on 10/06/1938, she is about 5 5 and weighs approximately 160 pounds. She wears glasses, she has her wedding ring set on and always has a pair of earrings on. They believe she has her cream colored pet Shih-Tzu, named Max with her.
