A family is mourning this christmas after a double shooting left a 16yearold dead. Reporter gus, the shooting happened at 183rd street between walton and jerome avenues. In the end, a 16yearold boy lost his life. His family members are devastated. The 16yearold Justin Morris grew up in this area. Shortly before 11 00 last night, another group began fighting. So someone fired a gun, according to the police, justin was shot numerous times in the back and collapsed in front of a business. Relatives say a 19yearold friend of the victim was also shot a number of times in the he survived and remains in the hospital. Family and friends of Justin Morris tell us he was a friendly teenager who enjoyed basketball and spending time with his childhood friends.
