WILLIAMSBURG Evelyn Frazier Thompson, 56, died Thursday, March 11, 2021. She was born Feb. 1, 1965, daughter of Alexander J. Frazier Sr. and the late Alice Cowles Frazier of Williamsburg, Virginia.
In her youth, she confessed Christ as her personal savior. She enjoyed singing and spent many years singing with various choirs, including the Mt. Pilgrimaires; The Voices of Hope; Earl Bynum and The Virginia Mass Choir; The Williamsburg Gospel Choral; as well as with her family group, The Frazier Jubileers.
Evelyn graduated from Lafayette High School, Williamsburg, and obtained her cosmetology license from Jan Mar Beauty Academy.
Many people knew her as a hard worker whose career spanned over 35 years. She was an entrepreneur who owned and operated her own hair salon, Shear Perfection; and Mines, Yours, Ours Consignment Store.
