The Saskatchewan Health Authority is hoping its next budget can help it turn the page on the COVID-19 pandemic.
The SHA board approved $4.3 billion in spending for the 2021-22 fiscal year, during which it will also complete a two-phase strategic plan aimed at transitioning away from contact tracing, immunizing and controlling outbreaks and focus on reviving services long neglected during the public health emergency such as surgeries, mental health and addictions care and diagnostics.
