Valley News - Local roundup: Rockwood's Windsor coaching debut a roaring success

Local roundup: Rockwood’s Windsor coaching debut a roaring success Elliot Rupp Modified: 2/17/2021 1:39:00 PM Staff Reports WINDSOR Kabray Rockwood’s run as Windsor High’s interim girls basketball coach got off to a roaring start on Tuesday night, as Elliot Rupp scored a career-high 26 points to lead the Yellowjackets to a 77-34 romp over Brattleboro in their first on-court action of the season. Rupp, a junior who’d previously topped the 20-point mark just once in her varsity career, had 11 first-half points as the Jacks (1-0) ran away from the Colonels early. Windsor limited Brattleboro (1-1) to just two first-period points and received plenty of offensive support.
