The roundtable takes place from 12:10-1 p.m. in the Terrell Library atrium and online. WSU librarians also provide a few reading suggestions to commemorate Banned Books Week, which celebrates the freedom to read.
The Terrell and Holland libraries will be closing earlier as a result of budget cuts this semester, no longer extending operation to midnight. Before the fall 2023 semester, the libraries were open Monday–Thursday until midnight. Since Aug. 20, the library implemented a new schedule, reducing the closing time to 11:45 p.m. Monday–Thursday instead. Beth Blakesley, WSU Associate.
Holland and Terrell Libraries on the Pullman campus will reduce their operating hours, and the Animal Health Library’s physical location will move to make way for a new study space effective Sunday, Aug. 20.

Washington State Correctional Industries offers voluntary employment and compensation for incarcerated prisoners in the state of Washington. While WSU has a contract with CI, it has not purchased items from the organization since 2018. CI is managed by the Washington State Department.
