Zanesville Middle School robotics team wins state title View Comments ZANESVILLE - The Zanesville Middle School Robotics team was recently named champions of the state competition, bringing home two additional titles in the process. The group of four eighth graders - Dhruv Patel, Karter Bludnick, Chloe Buchanan and Caiden Balsley - were given the task of building a robot at the beginning of the year that would be capable of performing specified tasks during competitions. For the state tournament, the robot needed to compete in a game tic-tac-toe that utilized a throwing motion. Patel, the team s programmer, prepared the robot to take on the task automatically, while Bludnick, the driver, took control manually and earned a perfect driving score.
