Since 1990 Allan Heydorn, graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism, has been editor of
Pavement Maintenance & Reconstruction. During that time he has lead the magazine’s development, guiding the industry’s most-influential publication as it works to provide contractors with essential information on business growth and development while keeping them abreast of industry trends, technological developments in materials and equipment, and on-the-job techniques that can improve productivity and add to a contractor’s bottom line.
In addition to leading an editorial staff devoted to the pavement maintenance industry, Allan developed and managed the four-day, 54-session conference for National Pavement Expo, the industry s premier trade show and educational event, from 1990 through 2019. In addition Allan managed the conference for Pavement LIVE (formerly National Pavement Expo West) from 2000 through 2013.
