Best College Wide Receiver Ever?
Last night the Alabama Crimson Tide destroyed the Ohio State Buckeyes in college football s national championship game 52-24. The championship marks the sixth national title in the past twelve seasons for the program. A huge part of the reason for Alabama s was the play of Heisman trophy winning wide receiver Devonta Smith. Smith caught a college football national championship game record twelve catches for two hundred fifteen receiving yards and two three touchdowns. Smith s freshman season ended with him catching the game winning touchdown against Georgia. Just two years later, Smith won multiple national individual awards while adding a second national championship to his resume. Is he the greatest college wide receiver of all time?
