The council contracted with OPN Architects of Cedar Rapids for $24,000 last year for a master plan and included the multi-million dollar project in its capital improvements program.
The five-story development also received assistance this summer through the Iowa Economic Development Authority’s workforce housing tax credit program.
Planning & Zoning commissioners voted 5-0 in support of the minor changes to plans on 54.79 acres north of Aldrich Elementary School and south of Greenhill Road.
