Why I can’t get rid of my CDs

I have a problem.
Blessedly, I’ve been spared alcohol, drug and gambling addictions. I’m not a hoarder in the usual sense.
But I’ve got too many CDs more than 6,000 by my rough count. Walls covered floor to ceiling. And, for that matter, DVDs. And quite a few LPs. Even some cassette and reel-to-reel tapes.
