Lombard s 2023 Senior Man and Senior Woman of the Year Awards were presented on Wednesday, Oct. 4, during the 17th annual Senior Fair at the Madison Meadow Athletic Center.
The village of Lombard will once again seek grant applications for local programs and events that support tourism and promote the Village as a destination for non-resident visitors. The application process opened on Sept. 25.
Lombard trustees are expected to vote later this month on a zoning request that would pave the way for a developer to tear down the former Carson s department store at Yorktown Center and build hundreds of apartments.
