The security firm Open Systems poached Geoff Haydon as its new CEO, the company announced Wednesday.
Haydon previously served as a VP at VMware Carbon Black, as well as an exec at Secureworks and RSA.
Like other enterprise security firms, Open Systems has seen a bump since the start of the pandemic.
Security Open Systems has named Geoff Haydon as its new CEO, the company announced Wednesday.
Haydon joins the company from VMware Carbon Black, where he was vice president of sales and customer operations (VMware acquired the security startup Carbon Black in 2019 for $2.1 billion). Before that, he served as chief revenue officer at SecureWorks, CEO at Absolute Software, and vice president for annual security conference RSA.
