Dr. King not only serves as executive producer, she also appears as Guthrie Jefferson, the loving mother and encourager to the film’s main character Dr. Mildred Jefferson (Stacey Dash). Dr. King’s acting repertoire adds to the list of her other accomplishments, including activism, author, and former state representative for the 28th District in the Georgia House of Representatives. Audiences might suspect
Roe v. Wade, which sheds inconvenient truths about the abortion movement, is aimed at a pro-life demographic.
You’d be wrong, according to the film’s driving force, Nick Loeb.
Trotting out a long line of crooked, pro-choice characters would “alienate that audience,” Loeb says. “Most of them are not bad people … that’s the audience we’re hoping for.”
Roe v. Wade finds Loeb wearing a crush of creative hats. He plays Dr. Bernard Nathanson, a pro-choice advocate who eventually had an extreme change of heart regarding abortion. His story is part of a larger canvas the country wrestling with the Supreme Court case known as Roe v. Wade. He’s also the co-writer, co-producer and co-director along with Cathy Allyn.

ORLANDO, Fla. Several actors from the new film Roe v. Wade released nationwide on Friday shared their resistance to abortion in interviews with The Christian Post at the film s premiere.
“Roe v. Wade” features a star-studded cast, including Hollywood actors Jon Voight, Robert Davi, Corbin Bernsen, John Schneider, Stacey Dash and Nick Loeb.
The film is based on the lesser-known history of what happened from 1966 through 1973 that led to the U.S. Supreme Court s decision declaring state laws banning abortion unconstitutional.
Davi, an award-winning actor, screenwriter and filmmaker, played Justice William Joseph Brennan Jr., who was regarded as one of the country s most influential justices on the court.
