For Haraldstad, the key hand came up with three tables left. He flopped top set of aces versus second set of kings held by
Bernard Larabi, who had the chip lead and opted to check-shove the turn. After missing the one-outer, he crashed back to the pack while Haraldstad rocketed to the chip lead with more than 100 big blinds.
Some heavy bubble pressure saw Haraldstad take 43 million out of about 140 million total chips to the final table.
Only Schottes was close behind with 40 million but nothing went right for him at the final table besides an early bust of
Jens Tankanza Lakemeier. He dropped three pretty big pots to Haraldstad to fall to a short stack and ended up going out in fourth.
