Dozens of people gathered in Anzac for a Sunday afternoon vigil remembering victims of the residential school system and the Sixties Scoop. There were stories of pain, suffering and loss spanning generations. But from the same speakers came stories of survival, reclaiming culture and defying the people who tried extinguishing it.
