BERLIN, N.Y. — New York State Police in Sand Lake recently arrested Cory Bly, 31, of Grafton, for felony driving while intoxicated with a previous conviction. At approximately 3:08 p.m. on May 13,  state police responded to a one-car accident on State Route 22 in the town of Berlin. On the scene investigation determined that Bly had been traveling south on State Route 22 when he veered off the western side of the roadway and struck a tree. - Advertisement - According to the trooper speaking with Bly, they could smell the odor of an alcoholic beverage and observed signs that he was intoxicated. Bly refused all tests to determine the alcohol content of his blood. He was transported to Albany Medical Center for treatment.
