PITTSFIELD â Investigators say they have identified two additional victims of Conrad Mainwaring, the 69-year-old former Olympic runner for Antigua who has been charged with sexually assaulting boys while working at Camp Greylock in Becket in the 1970s.
A Superior Court grand jury last week indicted Mainwaring on three more counts of indecent assault and battery on a person 14 or older and one more count of indecent assault and battery on a child under 14, the Berkshire District Attorney s Office said Wednesday in a statement.

Tractor-trailer truck driver charged with vehicular homicide after plowing into 2 cars on Mass. Pike, killing Ludlow man, injuring 2 women

BECKET – A Connecticut tractor-trailer driver has been charged with motor vehicle homicide after he plowed into two cars on the Massachusetts Turnpike, killing a Ludlow man and injuring a Ludlow woman and a Springfield driver.
Gary Litwin, 69, of Ludlow, was killed and Diane Litwin, 66, of Ludlow, was injured after Stanley Kardys, 67, crashed into their Toyota Camry at about 4:35 p.m., Friday, on Interstate-90, said Andy McKeever, spokesman for Berkshire District Attorney Andrea Harrington.
Kardys, who faces a single count of motor vehicle homicide by negligent operation, was heading eastbound toward mile marker 15 when traffic slowed. He crashed his Freightliner tractor-trailer truck into the Camry. The Camry was then pushed into a Toyota Sienna van, he said.
Pittsfield man dead, suspect under arrest in shooting

PITTSFIELD – One man is dead and a second is facing murder charges after a fatal shooting that occurred Tuesday night.
The shooting took place at 6:18 p.m. on 631 North St. Police responding to a ShotSpotter activation found the victim, Lemond Grady, 39, seriously injured, said Andrew McKeever, spokesman for Berkshire District Attorney Andrea Harrington.
Grady was rushed to Berkshire Medical Center by Action Ambulance and later died from his wounds, he said.
Responding officers received a description of a suspect, who ran from the area after the shooting. Patrol units searched the area and quickly arrested the man nearby on Lincoln Street, McKeever said.
