MARTINSBURG â A Clear Spring, Md. man was arrested after allegedly fleeing from police in his vehicle and on foot after crashing, according to a press release from Morgan County Sheriff K.C. Bohrer.
Timothy Shatzer, 42, was charged with felony fleeing and eluding following the incident first reported around 5:40 p.m. Saturday. Police expect multiple misdemeanor charges will be forthcoming.Â
On Saturday evening, Cpl. Shambaugh and Patrolman Ray from Berkeley Springs Police Department were running traffic control in the 3800 block of Winchester Grade Road when they observed a Mazda with Pennsylvania registration traveling south at 65 miles per hour in a 40 mile per hour zone.
