Dean and Briana Visser own the Benville Equestrian Center near Pequot Lakes and are the 2022 Crow Wing County Farm Family of the Year. Benvelle Equestrian Center provides boarding opportunities for horses as well as education for both horse and rider.

Pequot Lakes High School graduate Alexis (Visser) Gerst has released her first book, called Leading Remote Teams: Embrace the Future of Remote Work Culture.
This book will take readers on a journey beyond average office leadership and into the high-performing realm of remote leadership. Gerst draws on her experiences leading technical teams before and during the pandemic to teach leaders how to embrace the technology available, improve work-from-home productivity, and maintain human connection in a remote work environment.
