LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) Arkansas lawmakers on Wednesday advanced legislation that would allow workers to opt out of their employer's COVID-19 vaccine requirement if they're tested weekly or can prove they have natural antibodies.
The Arkansas House on Tuesday advanced legislation that would require employers to let workers opt out of taking the COVID-19 vaccine, despite warnings it would conflict with President Joe Biden's vaccine mandate and threaten millions in federal funding for health care facilities around the state.
The White House says the supply boost is the result of a new $1 billion federal investment, on top of the $2 billion committed to increasing the availability of the convenient diagnostic tests in September.
