Rapid City Police say one of the suspects sought in connection to the killing of a Rapid City man in a motel room on April 9 has been taken into custody. Travis Nelson, 35, of Rapid City was arrested Thursday on charges of Aggravated Assault, Kidnapping, Possession of a Controlled Drug/Substance and Possession of Stolen Vehicle/Failure to Comply. His bond has been set at half-a-million dollars. In the course of its investigation, the Rapid City Police Department developed information that Nelson was in Box Elder.
