A 35-year-old youth named Izhar Ahmed alias Babar was allegedly killed by a contractor in an under-construction building in Varanasi. The incident occurred near Kachehri crossing under Cantt police station area. The youth was hit on the head with an iron rod following a heated argument over outstanding payment. The police have launched a manhunt for the absconding accused.
