May 2—JACKSON COUNTY — A Windom man will face charges in court Wednesday that he allegedly burglarized two dwellings in Jackson County over the summer, one of which reportedly involved an accomplice who was also charged. Novack, Kolander
WINDOM Two area men were convicted this week of felony offenses relating to a theft last summer.
Parker Kolander, 21, of Jackson, and Benjamin Novack, 21, of Windom, were arrested in August, along with another individual, after police discovered stolen firearms in their possession.
Of the five charges he incurred of receiving stolen property, Kolander was convicted of one count. All other charges were dismissed. Fifth Judicial District Judge Christina Wietzema sentenced him Wednesday to 12 months and one day in prison, with a stay of execution in favor of up to three years of supervised probation.
