Cole Alexander scored his first goal for Indian Super League side Odisha FC on Tuesday to spare winless manager Stuart Baxter s blushes.
Baxter s winless run as Odisha manager was extended to seven matches on Tuesday afternoon after his side played out an entertaining 2-2 draw with NorthEast United in the ISL.
The former Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana coach has now seen his outfit take just two points from a possible 21 since the start of the season, but will have had reason to smile following Alexander s first goal for the club.
With Odisha trailing to goals from Benjamin Lambot and Kwesi Appiah following Diego Mauricio s opener, the ex-Bidvest Wits star levelled matters in the 67th minute with a sensational curling effort from just inside the box.
