Detectives have pieced together a sequence of events that detailed how the four Kitengela friends spent their last moments in the hands of their abductors.
The quartet, Bian Oduor, Jack Anyango, Elijah Obuong and Benjamin Imbai were allegedly kidnapped after eating lunch at a popular club in Kitengela.
Police said that an in-depth analysis of their mobile data indicated that the phones belonging to the four victims were switched off between 4 pm and 5 pm in different areas along the Namanga Highway.

Benjamin Imbai, one of the four men who went missing in Kitengela on April 19, was strangled and suffocated, a postmortem has revealed.
The autopsy was conducted at the General Kago Funeral Home in Thika, Kiambu County on Wednesday, May 5.

The Standard indicates Imbai, 30, had several bruises on his body, suggesting he struggled to free himself from his abductors’ grip. He was, however, unsuccessful.
