Dozens of individuals protested near the Ashland Plaza this evening about the conflict between Israel and Hamas. Those who were protesting made a global call for a ceasefire in Gaza. Others expressed emotional distress the war is causing, and the need for a ceasefire because of the “consequences of the war, particularly for innocent civilians.”
