The Philippines has improved its global standings in terms of safety of journalists as the country ranked 132nd among 180 countries in the latest World Press Freedom Index.
Media groups record at least 75 press freedom violations under Marcos regime, meanwhile, the Presidential Communications Office says they condemned all forms of attacks against the press.
