The weekend plans of people were disrupted as Bengaluru received non-stop rains brought in by Cyclone Mandous. The cyclone has weakened after it made landfall off Mamallapuram in Tamil Nadu and is on the retreat. The city is expected to get rain until Tuesday, after which the skies will gradually clear out. On Saturday, Bengaluru city recorded the lowest maximum temperature in
the southern parts of South Interior Karnataka including Mysore, Mandya, Chamrajnagar and Bengaluru have seen light rainfall activities. These light rains over Bengaluru as well as adjoining areas may be seen today and tomorrow, as the remnant of the system is moving across the region.
The city can expect some moderate to light showers over the next 3 days. Light rain and drizzle with sufficient breaks will continue even thereafter for subsequent 4-5 days
Thereafter, periodic rains will be seen in November, which is a usual for the city. Normal trend for Bengaluru in the last few days has been clouding in morning with mist and fog, however, clearance is seen thereafter. Pleasant weather conditions are likely for the city even in the coming days.
