Kolkata: A Kolkata hospital has decided to settle the bill of a Covid victim through the government’s Swasthya Sathi, at a time when patients have been alleging of private hospitals denying entertaining the scheme.
The relief to the victim’s family came after it approached the West Bengal Health Clinical Establishment Regulatory Commission. The patient, Pranab Kumar Banik (64) was admitted to RTIICS on January 10. The Shakuntala Park resident succumbed on January 29.
