In a move which may provoke the BJP government at the Centre, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday asked the Cooch Behar Police not to allow the Border Security Force (BSF) beyond 50 kms from the international border.

Matters came to such a pass that on Monday, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced that she had blocked the Bengal governor on Twitter, as he had been making derogatory remarks against the state government on that microblogging site.
