Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan on Monday said that the government will be in a situation to administer vaccines to those above 50 years of age in March, in the next phase of India s Covid-19 vaccination drive.
Vardhan also said that expert group on vaccination will discuss how to pay for vaccination of those above 50 years of age.

Kolkata-based Arohan Financial Services Ltd on Monday filed its draft red herring prospectus with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) to raise funds in an initial public offering (IPO).
The Aavishkaar group promoted lender is planning a ₹1,750-1,800 crore IPO, a person aware of the matter said requesting anonymity.

Gold prices remained weak for the third day in Indian markets today in tandem with softer global rates. On MCX, gold futures were up 0.17% to ₹47,398 per 10 gram while silver futures gained 1% to ₹69,900 per kg. In the previous two sessions, gold had lost about ₹800 per 10 gram. In global markets, gold eased today after a jump in US Treasury yields, which hit nearly 11-month high. Gold fell 0.2% to $1,820 an ounce. Higher bond yields increases the opportunity cost of holding non-yielding assets like gold.
