The State Publicity Secretary of the party, Comrade Benedict Godson, urged the governor to realise that Abia is not his personal property where he owes nobody any explanations.
Reacting, the State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Chief John Okiyi Kalu, said there is a state executive council in place in Abia as required by law.
“We have five commissioners including the attorney general and commissioner for justice and his colleagues for health, finance, information and works in addition to the secretary to state government and the chief of staff to the governor. In due course, the governor will expand his cabinet,” he said.

The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has said that God had allowed the death of Dare, third son of Pastor Enoch Adeboye, to test the faith of his father and that of his church members.
The group said this in a message of condolence it sent to Pastor Adeboye, who is the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
DAILY POST reported yesterday that Dare, one of the sons of ‘Daddy G.O’, died in his sleep on Wednesday night at his home in Eket, Akwa Ibom State.
Adeboye had sometime last year during his 42nd birthday described the deceased as a miracle child.

DAILY POST gathered that the students were kidnapped while transiting on a bus on Okigwe-Uturu Road.
Reacting to the ugly incident, a renowned economist, Dr. Alex Otti called on relevant authorities and security agencies to swiftly swing into action and ensure timely rescue of the students without harm, and promised to offer the necessary support and assistance that could fasten the release of the students.
Otti viewed such acts of violence against the students as wicked, barbaric and reprehensible, and reminded the perpetrators of the dastardly act that nothing justifies any form of violence against innocent members of the society, much more students on legitimate academic pursuit.

Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano State has frowned at the lack of strong political cohesion in the ruling All Progressive Congress, making the party to fail in some areas.
He said, ” APC as a party started as a mixture of various elements who tried to make a compound, but unfortunately the party is still a mixture not graduated to make a compound.”
Speaking during the party’s constitutional Town Hall event for Northwest zone in Kano, Monday, Ganduje said “Those who read sciences know that it is easier to removed a mixture but not easy to remove a compound”.
