The Special Adviser to Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State on Business, SME and Microfinance, Mr Benedict Akombo has tendered his resignation from the administration. Akombo, who was the Director of Finance for Alia's Campaign Organisation, was among the 17 Senior Special Advisers appointed by the governor on August 8, 2023. However, SaharaReporters could not immediately ascertain the reason behind the resignation even though Akombo worked closely with Father Alia before his election.
