Saving Grace hosts its first virtual fundraising event, Heroes Unmasked! - an opportunity to share more about Saving Grace and the life-saving work they do throughout the region. Bend Police say a teenager was "joking around" when he was pointing a bb gun style pistol in the Bend Walmart parking lot. According to Bend Police, two separate 911 callers reported seeing a male armed with a handgun in the parking lot. One caller reported the male was running and pointing the handgun at a blue Subaru wagon. The driver got out and the suspect got into the driver seat. The 911 caller reported at least one other person was reported to be in the vehicle. The 911 callers continued to watch the vehicle as it left the parking lot, which alerted responding officers. Authorities stopped the vehicle near the intersection of S. Hwy 97 and SE Badger Road. Due to the report of a handgun being displayed and the potential severity of the crimes Officers conducted a high risk or guns drawn traffic stop of the vehicle. Accomplice Arrested In Stabbing
A Bend woman has been arrested for her involvement from an assault last weekend south of Bend. Tesla Delury, 30, was charged with 2nd degree attempted murder and other charges, accused of conspiring with Anthony J. Reyes, 33, Bend, who was taken into custody last weekend. Police say Delury and Reyes conspired with one another in order to get the victim, a 32-year-old man to the China Hat Rd. area in order for Reyes to assault him. Delury was interviewed by detectives last Friday and after the interview was arrested.
Detectives say Reyes believed the victim was a witness in another criminal case involving Reyes.
