Marcos' birthday message was posted on his official Facebook page. "I join the country in greeting our mother the happiest of birthdays! We wish you continued [good] health, blessings, and joy," President Marcos stated. The celebration of Imelda's 93rd birthday came two days after her son took oath as the country's 17th President at the National Museum grounds in Manila.
