steve: and then senator hirono responded if my colleague the junior senator from nebraska wants to embrace the alt right s position by offering this resolution, that is his business. is she referring to the catholic church and the knights of columbus as alt right? yeah, hirono is making a run for being the worst person in the senate and she has a lot of competition for that so kind of admirable. the most extremist things that the knights of columbus do is they hold toy drives for kids around christmas time. this is obviously the label ben sasse alt right insane. critics of the conservatives among the alt right. if you are coming out against the knights of columbus and calling them edges streamist, you just hates catholics, that s all that is what you find extremist about them and bigoted and disgusting is that they are catholic because other than that, all they do is they do charity events. so this is just open bigotry against catholics and against christians from senator hirono and,
your private school, that s going to be a problem, too. because we can t have any of that as well. so i think that s the next phase. they are saying no, even if your private areas, christianity is no longer acceptable. steve: well then and matt, you look at hawaii senator mayse hirono apparently she and kamala harris accused brian buescher, trump s nominee for open u.s. federal court position of embracing extremism because he belongs to the catholic church s knights of columbus and then ben sasse came out and he defended that. and then senator hirono, i think, labeled him alt right. here is what senator sasse said on january 16th on the senate floor. i want senators to unanimously reaffirm our oath of office to a constitution that rejects religious bigotry. this isn t a republican belief. this isn t a democratic belief. this is an american belief.
