Courts force Governor DeSantis to release COVID-19 report

FORT MYERS, Fla. – The White House Coronavirus Task Force says Florida is in the “red zone” for COVID-19 cases, meaning the virus is spreading fast.
The latest report from December 6 shows the state had 280 new cases per 100,000 people.
But Governor Ron DeSantis is not taking any of the steps suggested in the report.
The 14-page report recommends Florida take some strict measures, including wearing a mask in public and more social distancing. That could mean closing indoor spaces at bars and restaurants.
Many are questioning why it took a court to force the governor to release it?
