Isla appoints new communications lead | Conference News

20 April 2021 - Submitted by Olivia Powell Submitted by Olivia Powell on 20 April 2021 Sustainability body Isla has announced that it has appointed Ellie Ashton-Melia (pictured) as its member engagement and communications lead, following the successful launch of the organisation in Autumn 2020. Isla aims to accelerate the industry transition to sustainable events and has quickly grown to over 50 members. It now looks to both continue this growth, and offer more value to existing supporters, through the appointment of Ashton-Melia, who starts next month. Ashton-Melia previously worked as a creative producer at brand experience agency Clive. As Isla s member engagement and communications lead, she will be the first point of contact for all members. She will also be responsible for Isla’s marketing and communications.
