This week, they filed plans worth more than $400,000 to rip up a carport with a green roof and replace it with a new swimming pool, spa and a decent-sized patch of lawn.
Other proposed plans include emptying an existing swimming pool and converting it into a sunken storage area with a “walkable” retractable roof, strong enough for people to stand on.
