JONESBORO, Ark. (5/8/21) – Pitching dominated the day on Saturday at Tomlinson Stadium-Kell Field, as the Arkansas State baseball team got a pair of quality starts in a doubleheader split versus Georgia Southern to take the three-game series.
The Red Wolves (16-24, 8-10 SBC) shut out the Eagles (28-18, 12-9) in the first game by a 4-0 decision, with Will Nash producing his third quality start in a row and Jack Jumper retiring seven straight to end it. Carter Holt then battled back after a tough first inning to put together a solid outing before Jake Algee pitched three perfect innings in the nightcap, however the Georgia Southern staff was strong and held off A-State for a 3-2 win in the series finale.

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (5/2/21) – Liam Hicks homered twice and drove in a career-high four runs, as the Arkansas State baseball team completed a road sweep with a 9-4 win over Austin Peay Sunday at Raymond C. Hand Park.
The Red Wolves (14-22) trailed twice, including 4-3 into the eighth, but scored twice in the eighth and four times in the ninth to finish the sweep of the Governors (15-27). With the win, A-State extended its winning streak to four games and won the series finale for the sixth series in a row.

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (5/1/21) – Will Nash delivered his second consecutive quality start, while the Arkansas State baseball team churned out 17 hits in an 11-5 victory over Austin Peay to clinch the series Saturday at Raymond C. Hand Park.
The Red Wolves (13-22) scored double-digit runs for the third-straight contest in its win over the Governors (15-26) while Nash only allowed one run on two hits in six innings of work to earn the win, striking out a career-high six. With the triumph, A-State notched its third straight win.

SAN MARCOS, Texas (4/24/21) – Entering the ninth, the Arkansas State baseball team held a one-run lead, but a game-tying single followed by a walk-off RBI double by Justin Thompson lifted Texas State to a 6-5 victory over the Red Wolves Saturday at Bobcat Ballpark.
The Red Wolves (10-22, 5-9 SBC) clung to a 5-4 lead with two down in the ninth, but the Bobcats (17-23, 7-7) knotted things at 5-all on a single by John Wuthrich before Thompson delivered the game-winning hit to secure the series for Texas State.

JONESBORO, Ark. (4/18/21) – Carter Holt delivered a quality start and Blake McCutchen drove in three runs to lift the Arkansas State baseball team to a 5-3 win over UT Arlington Sunday at Tomlinson Stadium-Kell Field.
Holt tossed a season-long six innings, allowing just two runs on six hits with five strikeouts for his first quality start, the second of the season for the Red Wolves (10-19, 5-7 SBC). A-State’s pitching only walked one batter and struck out seven in the win over the Mavericks (16-19, 7-5) to salvage the final game of the series.
