The Review:
April 28, 2021
The Sisters are coming back for more demonic fighting. The Heavens opened up in July 2020, and Warrior Nun, their new original fantasy series, was sent down to Earth through Netflix. The ecclesiastical series, which is loosely based on Ben Dunn’s iconic Warrior Nun Areala comics, follows Ava (Alba Baptista), a young woman who dies and is revived with a halo cemented on her back, now destined to become a member of a secretive, holy collective of demon-hunting warriors.
Fans have been wondering if they’ll be seeing more of Ava and her Sisters since the first season concluded with a big reveal. While you wait for more of Simon Barry’s (Van Helsing, Bad Bad) show, here’s what we know so far about Warrior Nun Season 2.
