High school graduations are weeks away, and while many central Indiana high schools are planning for in-person celebrations, the details are still subject to COVID-19.
Some schools have announced ticket limits, but with the stipulations that those numbers could change. Others are waiting until the ceremony is closer before bringing up ticket numbers. Some have also already announced livestreams for those who can t be there.
In addition to tickets, plans for social distancing, mask wearing and other elements of the event are still coming as schools and health departments watch the spread of COVID-19. Plus, districts stressed that plans are still subject to change and will include precautions made with local health departments. For those that are planning outside ceremonies, many have also announced rain dates.

A former Ben Davis University High School teacher has been charged with child seduction after prosecutors say he had sex with a 17-year-old girl over a span of about three months in 2019.
Robert Foote, 32, of Indianapolis, was charged last week after a teen told police she had sex with Foote multiple times from May 2019 to July 2019, soon after she graduated from the high school. A LinkedIn page for Foote indicates he had taught biology at the school since August 2012.
Ben Davis University High School, a partnership of Wayne Township Schools and Vincennes University, opened in 2007 and is separate from Ben Davis High School.
