Shuleiko replaces Lis as governor of Brest Oblast
MINSK, 26 January (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko appointed Yuri Shuleiko Chairman of the Brest Oblast Executive Committee on 26 January, BelTA has learned.
Since May 2017, Yuri Shuleiko served as Aide to the President in Gomel Oblast. We have already talked about your appointment. We thoroughly discussed your work in Gomel Oblast and talked about work in Brest. You understand what needs to be done there, Aleksandr Lukashenko said.

BELYNICHI, 24 December (BelTA) – The charity campaign Our Children teaches us to be kind and caring, Deputy Head of the Belarus President Administration Andrei Kuntsevich told BelTA as he took part in the event of the Our Children campaign in the Belynichi special needs residential school.
“Adults who participated in this campaign at least once will never be indifferent to children s sincere emotions,” Andrei Kuntsevich said. “I believe that the period in the run-up to New Year is the best time to help those who need it the most. Our nationwide campaign is a perfect way for everyone to pitch in. Holidays cannot do without presents, so today I have given the school the latest books from Belarusian publishers that will be added to the collection of the school library,” he added.
