As of 11 a.m. Wednesday, the fundraiser has already surpassed its goal of $25,000 as communities from all across Texas have come together to help the victim's family.
Belton ISD schools are projected to see a growing student body in the next ten years, according to demographers. A demographer said that due to a booming housing market, the district's enrollment is expected to grow from 13,300 students to over 19,000 students by 2031.
The Belton Independent School District is partnering with the Texas National Guard to provide Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine clinics. The community, anyone 12 years of age or older, will have opportunities to receive the vaccine in two walk-in clinics on Monday, Aug. 30.
