Dynamite, Kenny Omega landed himself in a Triple Threat for his AEW World title against Orange Cassidy & PAC.
The Belt Collector doesn’t want to lose one of his belts in a match where he doesn’t need to factor in the decision. And as an AEW Executive Vice-President, he has a little more power than the average champ. On May 18, he used it to check on Cassidy. and try to solve his Triple Threat problem.
Orange got his bell rung by PAC last Wednesday. That’s the justification Kenny and his mentor Don Callis used to draw up a contract which allows Cassidy to face Omega in the future when he’s healthy. All he has to do is back out of the Double or Nothing threeway.

Earlier this month, Andrade made his AAA debut. The former WWE NXT & United States titleholder called out Mega champion Kenny Omega in the process.
The Belt Collector (if you didn’t, Omega is also the AEW & Impact World champ) responded with a cheeky, “let me check my schedule”.
Well, either he checked it, or AAA officials decided it was past time Kenny made his fifth title defense since winning the strap in October of 2019, and his first since last December. because at a press conference today (May 18), Andrade vs. Omega was made official.

WWE Hally of Famer Bully Ray, who held the TNA World Heavyweight Championship twice during his singles career, took great offense to how Impact s top title was being presented.
